Panthers Haiti Aid
The Florida Panthers will be collecting money, clothing and non-perishable goods before and during their next two home games: Wed., Jan. 13 and Sat., Jan. 16, at the Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise. The games begin at 7:30 p.m.

COWs – Container on WheelsTM Haiti Earthquake Donation Drive
COWs-USA, LLC (http://www.866-get-a-cow.com/) announced it will lead a donation drive to help the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. In cooperation with A Plus Mini Storage, COWsTM will collect donations for immediate distribution to the Red Cross. Clothing, water, dry and canned goods will be accepted.

Publix collecting funds for Haiti Earthquake Relief
Publix Super Markets has established a program to offer its Florida customers and associates a way to directly assist those areas in Haiti affected by the recent 7.0 earthquake. Customers may donate any amount by adding it to their grocery totals when checking out at Publix registers.

Town of Surfside’s Operation: Help Haiti
The Town of Surfside is collecting non-perishable and canned foods as well as clothing for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. Please donate clothing and shoes for adults, children and infants.

There will be a collection box located in Town Hall at 9293 Harding Ave. There will also be a collection box at the Kiwanis Charity Car Wash on Saturday January 16, 2010. The car wash will take place at the 94th Street and Harding Ave. parking lot between 9:00a.m. and 1:00p.m.

Sustainable Four & PrimeTime Boat Rentals
Sustainable Four and PrimeTime Boat Rentals are collecting items for Haiti relief at First Street & Alton Road from Wednesday, from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. and all weekend along. Please place donations in boxes or sturdy plastic bags. Please label the bag or boxes containing donations, if possible.

The Greater Miami Jewish Federation

The Greater Miami Jewish Federation has established an emergency relief fund to respond to the disastrous consequences of Tuesday’s massive earthquake in Haiti. One hundred percent of all contributions to this fund will be allocated directly to the relief effort, to provide immediate humanitarian aid to earthquake victims and their families.

The Miami Heat and AmericanAirlines Arena Haiti Relief Drop Off

The Miami HEAT and AmericanAirlines Arena have launched an emergency relief drive to help provide important bare essentials to victims of the recent earthquake in Haiti.

In response to this disaster, the HEAT and AmericanAirlines Arena are encouraging South Florida residents to join in their effort to provide key resources that address the urgent and critical needs of disaster victims. From Thursday, January 14 through Monday, January 25, all concerned individuals can drop off bottled water, towels, clothing, and non-perishable canned goods at the COWs – Container on Wheels – storage containers at the AmericanAirlines Arena outside Gate 3 on N.E. 8th Street, located just outside of the Verizon Wireless Ticket Office.

The drop off schedule is as follows:

January 14 – January 17 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
January 18 – January 22 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
January 19 (vs. Pacers) 8:00 a.m. – End of Game
January 23 (vs. Kings) 6:30 p.m. – End of Game
January 25 (vs. Cavaliers) 8:00 a.m. – End of Game

On the January 19, 23, and 25 HEAT game days, donations will also be collected at the corner of Port Boulevard and Biscayne Boulevard.

Each person who makes a donation at the AmericanAirlines Arena drop-off location will receive a ticket voucher good for two tickets to select HEAT home games during the month of February. Tickets are based upon availability, and each fan will receive one ticket voucher per drop-off.
